It's something you hear

When the storm has passed

But not in this situation

It's a command

You've requested of me

Even though I have every right

to defend, fight, or plea

so to silence I go.

Not out of force

But because I am willing

You've asked me to step aside

and let You take hold.

though all my being wants to resist

but I know in my hands

this situation will only get worse.

So yes Lord I submit.

How could I not trust

You've promised to defend

So in silence I wait

For Your victorious hand
